The hill was usual enough;it had

A hiking trail, a pond, a mini waterfall

And some trees. My brother and I did

What kids do - climbed trees, slid

down the hill on cardboard, built forts,

fed the ducks, had grass fights, goofing around

Doing nothing important at all.

I wonder if I will ever be a mother

I hear the sound of a pegasus’ hooves

I see a unicorn prancing in the meadow

I want my family to be safe forever

I am friendly and unique

I pretend I own a restaurant

I feel the touch of my grandads warmth

I touch the soft skin on my future child's palm

I worry my parents will die before the time has come

I cry for my loved ones that have past

I am friendly and unique

I understand that love is unlimited

I say everyone deserved to be loved

I dream to make my kid’s life to be fun and exciting

I try to keep my family happy

I hope for world peace

Decimal place value

Today we measured our height and weight in decimals.
my height is 138cm which is 1.38m
one whole, three tenths and 8 hundredths of a metre.

Shrek is as green as a new, shiny granny
smith apple. He is as angry as a raging fire
and his teeth look as rotten as a whole
village covered in mould. Shrek has
trumpet ears and terrible clothes
that look like they came out of a dumpster.
